Cyborguian ethnography

Márcio Maia Malta

Barra Velha indigenous land, Porto Seguro (BA)

After a pleasant conversation with one of the big men of the mother village (Barra Velha), I asked permission to photograph. The sky was cloudy and the wind was moderate, even so, I made the preparations to expand my body. I took off and went about 700 meters into the sea at an altitude of almost 300 meters. I tried to frame the land landscape of the coast whose horizon line is bounded by the sacred Mount Pascoal.

Most of the houses in the Mother Village have one of their doors facing the Sea. In the acts of blessing, it is in this direction that the evil is thrown.
